Emergency Operations Center Design and Management (Level 1)

The Emergency Operations Center Design and Management Level 1 Course aims to present a technical roadmap to help organizations establish and maintain a fully-functional emergency operations center.

The course is designed to link EOC Management to an organization’s existing business continuity/service continuity plan and program to ensure operational viability even during times of disasters and other disruptions.

This level 1 EOC course is ideal for organizations that plan to set up its own EOC. A level 2 EOC course will be released soon that will focus on EOC operations (staffing and interoperability).

Objectives:

  • Explain key concepts in emergency response (strategic, operational, tactical) and how the EOC strengthens coordination and resource allocation
  • Discuss considerations to ensure EOC readiness, capability, and functionality
  • Enumerate the EOC planning process
