Health Resilience

Health Resilience is the ability of health systems to continue to deliver services in the face of constant challenge and strain. Strengthening the health system, meeting the needs of the vulnerable population and promoting the need of organizational competence, social connectedness and psychological health, it encourages action that builds preparedness, promotes strong day-to- day systems and underlying the determinants of health. Health resilience has implications for policies and practice in terms of greater attention to strengthening, new forms of leadership development and new forms of collaboration.

This course shall cover the Concepts of Resilience in Health, Elements of Health Resilience, and Strategies in Health Resilience. For health workers and administrators, this serves as a complementary material to the PSCP open course.
