With the release of the Public Service Continuity Planning (PSCP) Guidebook last month, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense and the support of USAID- Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and New Zealand Aid, will lead a mentorship program to help government partners in the completion of its public service continuity plan and implementation of its public service continuity management system.
At the end of the course, the user will achieve the following objectives:
- To understand the overall PSCP process through appreciation of its individual sections
- To determine how each section serves as a prerequisite to the succeeding sections of the PSCP
- To apply users’ understanding of the PSCP process that contribute to the organization’s risk management planning
- To evaluate existing organization processes in complementing existing continuity strategies or building on new ones
- To aid in the development and implementation of public service continuity plan that is suitable for the organization
