Pandemic-Adaptive and Resilient MSME Supply Chains

A Learning Event on Developing MSME Resilience Against Different Hazards

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have been among the most dramatically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as enterprise owners face the challenges of maintaining their financial resources, sustaining their workforce, and managing the production of goods and services delivered within the limitations of the COVID-19 measures. The pandemic has made unprecedented damage to the global supply chains, leading to disruption in business operations and, sometimes, complete stoppage.

In order to survive in this complex crisis, MSMEs need to innovate and adapt. The webinar on “Pandemic Adaptive and Resilient MSME supply chains” aims to provide insights into how MSMEs can make their supply chains and business operations more sustainably secure against different hazards.

This learning event will be led by the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation as part of the Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP) through the Philippine Preparedness Partnership (PhilPrep).

With the support of the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, APP PhilPrep is the localized tripartite platform represented by the key societal actors from the government (Office of Civil Defense), the private sector (PDRF), and the civil society (Center for Disaster Preparedness).

View the webinar and learn about how MSMEs innovate and adapt to economic shocks, including building their supply chain resilience and sustainably securing their business operations against hazards both natural and human-induced. The event will also feature COVID-19 recovery tools and business continuity strategies in the new normal.

The event will start on October 21 at 2:00 pm
