To assist government agencies, organization and entities in developing the public service continuity plans, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) through the OCD Capacity Building and Training Service (CBTS) in collaboration with PDRF initiated the development of the Public Service Continuity Planning Guidebook.
The Guidebook shall serve as a standard reference document that aims to provide step-by-step instructions to key representatives of public sector organizations in preparing their own public service continuity plans.
Objectives:
To promote the official release of the Public Service Continuity Planning (PSCP) Guidebook as the standard reference document of the Continuity Core Team (CCT) and other key representatives of public sector organizations in preparing their own public service continuity plans.
Specifically, the event aims:
- To showcase the departments and agencies supporting the goals of the guidebook as PSC Champions; and
- To present the salient components of the PSCP Guidebook through a book tour.
